Dr. Cécile Hébert, associate professor in Materials Science at EPFL and president of Conférence du corps enseignant, will present the results of a survey of EPFL teachers about their experience with remote emergency teaching.
Dr. Auke Ijspeert
Dr. Auke Ijspeert, full professor at the EPFL and head of the Biorobotics Laboratory, will share his reflections on a hybrid video & live format for his master courses “Computational Motor Control” and “Analysis and Modeling of Locomotion” for next year.
Dr. Andreas Steiger (D-MATH)
Dr. Andreas Steiger (D-MATH), lecturer at the Department of Mathematics at ETH Zürich, describes his findings from changing from lecture halls to live Zoom lectures in a large first year class and how the positive effects might be brought back to the lecture hall.
Prof. Bernhard Wehrnli (D-USYS)
Prof. Bernhard Wehrli is a professor of Aquatic Chemistry and study director at D-USYS (ETH). He will discuss a positive experience with sharing recorded student presentations in advance to intensify on-line conversations.
