WIDEr and Inclusive Teaching
Examples from ETH
This Refresh Teaching event is organized in co-operation with the WIDE (Well-being, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity) working group of D-GESS, as part of their WIDEr teaching week from 8 – 12 May. Inclusive teaching strategies refer to any number of teaching approaches that address the needs of students with a variety of backgrounds, experiences and learning styles. These strategies contribute to an overall inclusive learning environment in which all students are perceived to be valued and able to succeed. In this event we hear from speakers on inclusive teaching topics that are specific to improving the teaching and learning environment for the ETH community and in the Swiss context. They will share the results of their research, responses to the findings, and the teaching techniques that have been developed.
